Your AI plan

Your AI Plan: AI Power Seller

You already run AI as a system. This month is about proving it works and helping your team catch up.

  • Reading time: 8 minutes
  • Last updated October 20, 2026

For readers who scored 25 to 30 out of 30 on the AI Sales Readiness Assessment.

You scored between 25 and 30, which makes you an AI Power Seller. Your next gains won't come from new prompts. They come from review steps on anything that runs on its own, a teammate who can use your best workflow and numbers that show what AI is worth.

In 30 seconds

  • Your profile: "You run AI as a system across research, writing, calls and admin, with checks in place. Your next step is proving it: measure the time you save and help your team work the same way."
  • Your risk now is overtrust, not skill. A tool that's usually right is easy to stop checking.
  • Add human approval to anything that reaches a buyer or changes a record.
  • Teach one teammate your best workflow, starting from where they are, not where you are.
  • Measure and share your before and after time, then retake the assessment at day 30.

What AI Power Seller means (and what it doesn't)

Scroll sideways to see the whole table.

It means It doesn't mean
AI is part of your daily work across research, writing, calls and admin You can stop checking. Checks matter more as volume grows
You use a context file, tested templates and probably a routine Everything you've built is still accurate. Context files go stale and prompts drift
You know your company's AI rules Your teammates do. Many of them may still be at the start
You save real time every week You can prove it. Without written numbers, it's a feeling

Strengths people at this level usually have

  • A working system. Your seller context file, templates and routines mean most tasks start informed.
  • Judgment about fit. You know which tasks AI speeds up and which still need you, like reading the room.
  • Credibility. Teammates already ask how you do it.

Your three biggest opportunities

Your results screen shows your three lowest areas, and any that already scored 3 gets its advanced tip. Beyond those, three advanced tips cover the biggest gains at this level.

  1. Automation with human approval (Automation)

"Measure the before and after time on your routines, and add a human review step to anything that touches a buyer." Anything a buyer sees keeps a human in the loop.

  2. Teaching teammates (Prompt structure)

"Turn your best three prompts into templates a teammate could use, with a note on the inputs each one needs." A prompt template only helps the team if someone else can run it without you.

  3. Measuring and proving impact (Everyday use)

"Time your top tasks again every quarter so you know where AI still pays off and where it doesn't." Write down both numbers, then tell your manager where the saved time went.

Measure what matters now

The course swaps output counts for questions about leverage. Pick your numbers from these.

Old question New question
How many emails did I send? How much time did AI save me per week, and where did I reinvest it?
How many calls did I make? Did my connect to meeting rate improve after roleplay practice?
How many accounts did I touch? How long does a verified account brief take now versus before?
What did I learn? What reusable prompts, skills or processes did I create and share?

If you substantially edit a routine's output most of the time, it isn't ready to run on its own. AI Sales Automation covers the full method.

Your 30 day plan

Your results email sends one focus area each Monday for three weeks, then a final week to put it together. At your level, use each week for one of the three opportunities, and fold in the focus area tip as you go.

Week Your email covers What to do at your level Time
1 Your first focus area Audit. List everything you've automated or saved. Mark anything a buyer could see, or any record AI could change, without your review. Then run the audit prompt on five things you shipped last week About 45 minutes
2 Your second focus area Add approval. Put a review step on every flagged item. Turn your most trusted prompt into an AI skill or a saved template with input notes About 45 minutes
3 Your third focus area Teach one teammate. Ask them to take the assessment first. Then walk them through your template for 15 minutes and watch them run it alone About 30 minutes, plus their time
4 Put it together and measure Prove it. Retime your top three tasks against your old numbers. Send your manager a short impact note, then retake the assessment About 30 minutes

Prompts for your level

These assume you already have a context file and tested prompts. Run them in your company approved AI tool. Skills and scheduled tasks work differently in each assistant, so check its current documentation.

Prompt

Turn your best prompt into a skill

Here is a prompt I've used at least 10 times and trust: {paste prompt}. Turn it into a skill file a teammate could use without me. Include: when to use it, the inputs it needs and where to find each one, step by step instructions, the output format, rules, and a verification step that lists every fact to check before anything reaches a buyer. Add one example output using a fictional company. Then list 3 ways a less experienced rep could misuse it.

Prompt

A routine that reports, never acts

Write instructions for a weekly routine that runs every Monday at 7am. Task: {for example, review my open deals and list what changed, what's at risk and which fields are missing}. Rules: report to me only. Never send a message, change a record or contact anyone. Put anything you could not confirm under a heading called "Not verified." End with the 3 actions you'd suggest I take, and leave the decision to me.

Run it by hand for a week or two before you schedule it. An AI routine should only automate what already works.

Prompt

Audit your own outputs for errors

Below are 5 AI assisted things I sent or saved last week, each with the sources I used. For each one, list every factual claim and mark it as supported by my sources, not supported, or not checkable. Then tell me which kind of mistake shows up most, and suggest one rule for my context file that would prevent it. Don't rewrite the messages.

These are yellow data. Run this in your company approved workspace only.

Prompt

Write your impact note

Here is my time log: {task, minutes before AI, minutes now, how many times a week}. Here is what I shared with the team: {skills, templates, routines}. Here are errors I caught before they reached a buyer: {list}. Write a 6 line monthly update for my manager: time saved per week, where I reinvested it, what I shared, one error I caught and one thing I'll try next month. Use only my numbers. Don't estimate or round up.

Quick check

Which of these needs a human approval step?

  1. A Monday routine that lists your stalled deals and suggests next steps. Reveal: No. It only reports to you, and you decide what to act on.
  2. A workflow that drafts a reply to every new inbound lead and sends it. Reveal: Yes. A person approves anything a buyer will see.
  3. A routine that updates close dates in your CRM from call transcripts. Reveal: Yes. Approve close date, stage and amount changes one by one, because they feed the forecast.

    Try it now

    Your first 15 minutes

    1. Open a blank page and list every template, skill, routine and workflow you run.
    2. Next to each one, write two answers: could a buyer see the output, and could it change a record?
    3. Circle any item with a yes and no review step. That's your week 2 list. Nothing circled? Run the audit prompt on the prompt you trust most.

How to use your personal focus areas

Your results showed three focus areas, weakest first. At this score, they're likely areas where you scored 2. If you scored 3 everywhere, the results called them "Your next three moves." Each focus area will get its own page; until then, the free guide next to it covers the same ground.

Teaching a teammate who's just starting? Send them the assessment first. If they land at the start, Your AI Plan: Curious Starter gives them a safe first month.

    Key idea

At this level, your best AI work is the work someone else can repeat and your manager can measure.

    Retake the assessment

Retake it at day 30, answering for your normal week. Your score may not move much, since there's little room above 25. Watch your area scores and the tips instead: the goal is all areas at 3, with numbers to back it up.

    Frequently asked questions

Is AI Power Seller the highest profile?

Yes. It's the top of four, from 25 to 30 out of 30. What's left at this level is proof, safer automation and helping others, not more prompts.

I scored 30. Why did I still get focus areas?

Because the results always show three next steps. With a perfect score, they're the advanced tips for Fact checking, Data safety and Workspace setup, the areas where a slip costs the most.

My routine has been right for weeks. Can I stop reviewing it?

Not if a buyer sees the output or a record changes. For internal reports that only inform you, a quick skim is enough.

Is the certification worth it if I already work this way?

It's worth it if you want a credential others can verify and a graded capstone on real work. For new techniques alone, much of the early material will feel familiar.
