Teach AI for sales with us
We're looking for experienced sales people who use AI well and love helping others get better. Instructors lead our weekly live class and private classes for sales teams, and share in the revenue from the classes they teach. It isn't easy to get in, on purpose.
In 30 seconds
- What you'd do: lead the weekly member class, or a private class series for one company's sales team.
- How you're paid: a share of the revenue from the classes you teach, every month.
- How you get in: apply, earn our certification with distinction, complete a final project, interview and co teach two classes before you teach on your own.
- Who we're looking for: at least 3 years in sales, real experience coaching or training others, and AI in your own daily work.
What instructors do
Scroll sideways to see the whole table.
| Weekly member class | Private team classes | |
|---|---|---|
| Who's in the room | Members from many companies | One company's sales team, usually 8 or more reps |
| Format | A live 45 minute class every Wednesday at 4:30 pm Pacific, recorded for replays | A live class series for that team only, on a schedule that fits their calendar |
| What you teach | The week's topic from the course, live examples and questions from members | The course, built around that team's product, buyers and tools |
| Prep | A plan for the class using our outline and materials | Examples and labs adapted to the team, with our help |
You teach from the course and its labs, so you're never starting from a blank page. Your job is to make it real: show it working, answer the hard questions and help reps apply it to their own accounts.
How you're paid
Instructors share in the revenue their teaching brings in, paid monthly with a statement showing exactly how your share was worked out.
Private team classes: half of the net revenue
When you lead a private class series, you receive 50% of what that team paid for it, after payment processing fees.
The weekly member class: a share of membership revenue
Part of each month's membership revenue goes into an instructor pool, split by the classes each instructor taught that month.
More ways to earn as you grow
Reviewing capstones, bringing in new members and teams, and writing new certifications are planned next, each with its own pay.
The exact terms, including pool size and timing, are in the instructor agreement you sign before you teach.
How selection works
Apply
Tell us about your sales experience, how you've taught or coached others and how you use AI today. About 10 minutes.
Get certified, with distinction
Earn the Certified AI Sales Practitioner credential with a capstone score of 90 or higher. The pass mark is 75; instructors need more.
Complete the final project
Three parts: record a 20 minute sample lesson, review three practice capstones (your scores need to land close to ours) and design one new lab.
Interview
A conversation with our founder about how you teach and how you'd handle a tough class.
Probation
Co teach two classes with an experienced instructor before you lead your own.
Key idea
We'd rather have a few great instructors than many good ones. Every member who joins a class should leave it better at their job.
Instructor levels
Scroll sideways to see the whole table.
| Level | What you do | How you get there |
|---|---|---|
| Associate instructor | Co teach classes and support members | Finish selection |
| Instructor | Lead the weekly class and private team classes | Strong reviews through probation |
| Lead instructor | Write new material, train new instructors | By invitation, after a track record |
Staying an instructor
- Learner feedback after every class.
- Quality checks: we sit in on classes from time to time and give you notes.
- Yearly renewal of your certification, like every certified member.
- A code of conduct: protect customer data, never promise results, treat every learner with respect.
Apply to teach
About 10 minutes. Fields marked * are required.
Do I need to be certified before I apply?
No. Apply first. If you're a fit, we'll invite you to certify. If you're already certified, say so on the form.
How much time does it take?
Each weekly class is 45 minutes plus prep. A private team class series is planned with the team. You choose how many classes you take on.
Can I teach from anywhere?
Yes. Every class is online. The weekly class is at 4:30 pm Pacific, so you'll need to be available then for that class.
How many instructors will you select?
A small number at a time, so every new instructor gets real support through probation.
Am I an employee?
No. Instructors are independent contractors under a written agreement that sets out the work and the pay.
What if I'm not selected?
We'll tell you why, and you're welcome to apply again later.
